Kristian Perez, Staff Writer
Kristian Perez is a junior at Wayne State College majoring in English writing and minoring in journalism, editing and publishing, as well as business administration. When not in Wayne, she lives in the small town of Henderson Nebraska with her family, which is also known as her hometown. Some of Kristian’s hopes and goals for her future in writing is to work for a high school or middle school focusing on their clubs and actives. This will allow her to interview teachers and students in the area, focusing on the students’ and/or teachers’ accomplishment throughout the school year. Writing has always been a passion for Kristian. From a young age, she would write stories for fun. Kristian’s biggest dream is to publish a book of her own someday, written especially for younger women, encouraging them in their faith and walk throughout life. She especially loves writing poetry. Some of the best classes she has taken at Wayne State College are poetry workshop classes. When Kristian is not writing, she can be found reading a good book with a cup of coffee in hand or spending time with her family outdoors fishing at a lake or picnics at the park together.
