A Morey Hall student was taken to Providence Medical Center on Nov. 14 and was treated for alcohol poisoning. The student is not being cited for an alcohol violation, since the alcohol itself was not consumed on campus.

A student received a startling and upsetting surprise on Saturday afternoon, Nov. 22, when a car fire occurred in Parking Lot 10. According to campus security, when the student started his vehicle, a faulty fuel injector caused the engine to start on fire. A call by the student quickly brought over Crime Prevention Officer Lucas Spooner, which put out the fire, and the Wayne Fire Department, who also responded to the scene. Nobody was injured.
