WSC spring scrimmage
The Wayne State football team held its spring scrimmage last Saturday in front of a decent sized crowd.
According to coach Dan McLaughlin, the Wildcats ran approximately 80 plays over the scrimmage, including some situational drills that the team does during a regular practice, giving fans an inside look to a regular football practice.
McLaughlin also said that several players made huge strides throughout spring practices and asserted themselves into fighting or solidifying themselves into the lineup next fall.
Pac N Save hosted a barbecue for fans throughout the game and Zeta Tau Omega had a fundraiser to raise money for the Eddie Key Memorial where fans kicked field goals for a chance to win prizes.
