Large amounts of money were distributed at last night’s city council meeting as payments for various projects were made.

 
The first payment went to Eriksen Construction, for $146,199.12, which was the third payment for the 2015 Wastewater Treatment Facility improvement project.

 
A fourth payment of $175,746.94 was given to the 2016 Wayne Aquatic Center project. The money went to Christiansen Construction Co. LLC.

 
The Robert Weohler & Sons Construction Inc. received $99,912.12 to start the Grainland Road water and sewer extension project.

 
A $5,000 grant was given to the Wayne Area Economic Development for potential projects and semi-annual reports. It was recommended by the LB840 Sales Tax Advisory Committee.

 
After debate at the last two meetings, the council approved the allowance of having one-hour parking on E. 2nd Street east to Logan Street.
