Cat’s Corner was packed last night as Wayne State students took to the stage to show off their talents.

“Wayne’s Got Talent” was put on by S.A.B as part of Blizzard Days.
“It’s nice that S.A.B is giving Wayne students a chance to show off their talents,” Candace Hutchson said.

The show was hosted by Erik Rivera who entertained the audience throughout the night with his comedy styling.

Many of the performers sang a song while a few students showed their talents by performing instrumental songs.

The top five performances went on to round two.

After a grueling second round of performances Jaimi Millage and Amanda Kahny won third place with their musical duet. Second place went to Kelley Robinson who admitted that it was a little nerve wracking to perform in front of everyone.

“This was a chance for me to preform again,” first place winner, Nathan Schreiter said. “I haven’t done it in a while and I love being on stage.”
Rivera was happy to admit that Wayne State has talent.

“I guess I shouldn’t judge a book by its cover,” Rivera said. “A lot of the people surprised me. There is a lot of talent here.”
