Thank you! Thank You! Thank You! for continuing to pursue the Stan Carpenter / Charles Bunting story. The pieces you’ve done in the last several editions of the Stater are investigative journalism at its finest.

I echo the sentiments of many employees on campus when I say “Thank You.” Those of us not protected by tenure are scared to speak out, as evident by my anonymous email address, so you all are being our advocates.

Carpenter’s actions reek of a culture of cronyism and corruption. The board of trustees, sadly, has become nothing more than a rubber stamp. Thank you so much for bringing this to light. Please share my sentiments with all Stater staff, your hard work is greatly appreciated by us.
