Wayne, Nebraska has some food options that many people enjoy in the city, like Udder Delights, Jimmy Johns, Runza, McDonalds, Fiesta Brava, Godfathers Pizza and more. But what if some people wanted more food options like, for say, Taco Bell or Outback?
Ximenna Martinez, a freshman at Wayne State College, expresses her opinion about how Wayne should have more food options available.
“I feel like the amount of food businesses reflect on the population in a County, and if Wayne happened to be open to opening new restaurants, and having new fast-food places, then the county could become bigger and business could improve,” Martinez said.
Martinez also talks about what possible food options she would want in Wayne, Nebraska.
“I would like a Seafood Boil, or a Steakhouse like Outback in Wayne, that would be really cool, and plus I wouldn’t have to travel as much to go to these places if they were here,” Martinez said.
Lucy Gonzalez, a freshman at Wayne State College, believes that Wayne’s community could improve if they had more fast-food businesses nearby.
“A lot of the closest fast food places are either in Norfolk or in Sioux City, but when bringing some of those fast-food places that are far away into Wayne, then business would probably grow, and people wouldn’t have to leave Wayne as much to get a better deal with food,” Gonzalez said.
Gonzalez also talks about some of her food preferences that she would like to have in Wayne, Nebraska.
“I do love Udder Delights and Fiesta Brava, but I would love a Taco Bell or a HuHot Mongolian Grill in Wayne, and it would be so much better for me, since I wouldn’t have to go back home, it would just be here, and I wouldn’t have to travel as far,” Gonzalez said.
Wayne has a lot of food options that they could introduce to potentially build more fast-food businesses, and I believe that Wayne should do this because it shortens the distance to travel and helps make more money in the county.
