The Wayne Public Library has many fun events planned for the month, including adult coloring night on Mar. 11 at 6 p.m.
“The coloring night is open to anybody to come down to join,” Library Director Heather Headley said. “Snacks are served; all the supplies are here. Just come down, relax, unwind, enjoy conversation.”
The library also hosts Needle Night at 6 p.m. every Thursday. Needle Night is open to students to socialize and work on projects such as crocheting or knitting.
Basic Tech Afternoon will be held on Mar. 12 at 1 p.m. Community members are welcome to bring in and ask questions about their computers, phones or other tech devices.
Traditional Book Club will meet for discussion on Mar. 25 at 6 p.m. to discuss “An Elderly Lady is Up to No Good” by Helen Tursten.
“We have the books available; they can come and check them out any time prior to the book club,” Headley said.
While most of the activities reside in the library, some are take-home activities. The library is beginning their “seed library,” where individuals can come in and grab a pack of seeds to try and grow themselves. The seed library is open to anyone who wants to borrow or donate seeds.
Activities for April are already in the works, including a puzzle race and partnering with the Wayne Green Team for Earth Day.
All the events are free to attend, and students can get their own library card for free with their student ID and proof of address. For more information call 402-375-3135 or visit www.cityofwayne.org/82/library.
