A letter from The Wayne Stater

Letter from the Editor

The last couple of weeks have been crazy for everyone. Last week, WSC had an extended break, and we have spent this week trying to figure out how we will still be distributing news to everyone.

While everyone fully planned a normal campus life last week, the COVID-19 Virus turned life upside down. Social distancing and isolation are what will help flatten the curve of cases. Classes going online are to help flatten this curve.

With classes going online, The Wayne Stater student-staff are not able to meet Tuesday nights for creating the publication. We are also not able to physically distribute hard copies, so we have decided to move online for the remainder of the school year.

Students, staff, faculty, community members, and others are able to access our news through The Wayne Stater app as well as our website thewaynestater.com.

Students will be gathering and reporting on news where they are, and about campus if possible. We are doing what we can to still give information to the public.

We will not have Wednesday releases for the remainder of the year, but stories will be coming out Fridays and throughout the weekend.

We hope to see all of you in the fall.
