Pumpkin spice and everything nice

Fall is full of pumpkin spice and everything nice.

The fall season is the Halloween lovers, scary movie lovers and pumpkin spice lovers favorite time. Between the months of September and December, people are attending pumpkin patches, haunted houses and enjoying the brisk air of the season.

To me, fall is one of my favorite seasons. It is the time where my combat boots and sweaters come out into style. Those from the country are harvesting corn and driving tractors. The hot air begins to fade away as the cold air comes into play. Leaves turn from green to orange and red as they slowly fall off the trees one by one.

Have a family weekend full of cooking up different pies and making hot apple cider or homemade hot chocolate to enjoy by the fire at home.

Friday Night Lights nights are cheering and screaming for their home football teams to win. Volleyball and softball games are in full swing at all the different schools. As for the Huskers whether we are winning or losing, Memorial Stadium is still a sea of red.

Fall lovers also visit Vala’s Pumpkin Patch and Scary Acres almost every season. On most girls’ Instagram posts, it says “It is not fall, if you do not go to Vala’s Pumpkin Patch, and almost every girl is wearing Ugg boots too.

Enough of throwing shade, back to the more serious things about fall.

Families go on camping trips, walk on the nature trails, and roast marshmallows all in a weekend trip. Getting close to Halloween, the scary vibes fill the streets with Halloween decorations and carving scary faces into pumpkins turning them into jack-o-lanterns. The kids on Halloween night run around saying ‘Trick or Treat’ getting all the candy to be on sugar highs that night staying up past their bedtimes.

From the cold, bitter air to pumpkin patches, fill up on everything nice that fall has to offer this season.
