Wayne State College Student Senate hosted a Casino Night on Feb. 27 in the Frey Conference Suite in the Kanter Student Center.

Over 300 students attended, and many walked out with prizes in their hands. Dovydas Burneika, a WSC senior, was one of three lucky winners of an LED TV. On top of blackjack, craps, roulette, plinko and mini golf, a mechanical bull was offered for students, like Jeremiah Scheie, as pictured.

Some students were luckier than others throughout the night. Freshman Keith Lewis was on top of the world after making his fourth hole-in-one in a row playing mini golf.

Students who attended were given 20 tickets at the door, which they competed with in gambling games. An extra 20 tickets were offered to students who filled out a survey and voted for the president and vice president of Student Senate. There were buckets set up for each prize and students put their winning tickets into whichever prize bucket they wanted to.

Plenty of top-notch prizes were given out throughout the night, including three LED TVs, a Play Station 4, a Keurig, an Xbox 1 and many more. Student Senate President Matt Mullins said he was very pleased with the night.
