WSC grad among those slain in Vegas shooting

A former Wayne State College student was among those slain by a gunman
at an outdoor concert in Las Vegas Sunday night, according to news
reports.

The family of Carly (Buchholtz) Kreibaum confirmed her death Tuesday night.

Kreibaum attended Wayne State College from 2002 to 2006 and earned a bachelor’s degree in art.

She lived in Sutherland, Iowa. Kreibaum, along with two friends, was attending the Route 91 Harvest Country Music Festival when Stephen Paddock opened fire from the Mandalay Bay hotel. To date, 59 people have been confirmed dead.

She was married and had two children. Funeral arrangements are
pending.
