Dan and Phil and “Supernatural” and pineapples on pizza

I am obsessed.

Obsessed with a lot of things, to be honest. You know that one friend who always talks about their favorite bands, animes, tv shows, books and youtubers? I am that friend. And lately I’ve been spending a lot of time being obsessed with Dan and Phil.

If you don’t know who Dan and Phil are, you obviously don’t spend as much time on the internet as I have. They are two British youtubers, who happen to be roommates, and who share their lives and misfortunes with the world.

Dan Howell, or danisnotonfire, is a 25-year-old law school drop out with a history of being awkward. This awkwardness has gotten him into a lot of unusual situations, such as pushing the panic alarm at his job and not admitting to it, or making a fool out of himself at a fancy restaurant.

Phil Lester, or AmazingPhil, is a 29-year-old with the worst luck, which results in awesome stories—like the time he got attacked by a squirrel, or all the reasons why he was a weird kid (there are a lot, in case you are wondering).

Combine these two and you have a literal ray of sunshine also known as Phil, and the darkness that is Dan’s soul.

Okay—now I know what you are thinking: “Why is this weird girl talking about two guys with no relevance to our lives what-so-ever?”

Well to answer your question—they have relevance to my life and I don’t really care what you think.

So to explain more of why I’m talking about them so much—they recently finished a tour around the U.K., U.S. and Australia, in which they put on a live show of the world of Dan and Phil.

They named this tour “The Amazing Tour is Not on Fire” (TATINOF for short) in correlation with their users’ names.

And today—I repeat TODAY, I am finally going to be able to see this show they put on. Not live, but still.

They filmed one of their shows and are putting it on youtubered *grumble* where I have to pay for it, but it’s no big deal, because I get one month of youtubered FREE!
I have been waiting for this since I wasn’t able to make it to one of their shows on tour, so don’t you judge me.

Now my friends are probably reading this, shaking their heads, thinking, “Oh, my God, Sami…”

Yeah, I get it. I am a crazy and obsessed fangirl with no self-control. I understand I love everything and I haven’t been able to shut up about this (sorry Alex for talking your head off).

But you have to realize, everything I am obsessed with is a great distraction from this miserable and depressing life. So be glad I’m obsessed with Dan and Phil and not summoning Satan.

Wait—now that I’ve mention it, I am fairly certain that the “Supernatural” fandom would love to do that.

And, by the way, pineapple on pizza is amazing!
