The Wayne State College volleyball team moved up three spots to third in the first regular season AVCA (American Volleyball Coaches Association) Division II Top 25 Coaches’ Poll released Monday afternoon.

 
The Wildcats have extended their streak of consecutive national rankings to 90 dating back to September 28, 2009.

 
Wayne State opened the season last weekend with four wins at the Oredigger Classic in Golden, Colorado, beating Dallas Baptist and Indianapolis 3-0 along with 3-1 wins over Colorado Mesa and Western State (Colo).

 
The ‘Cats return to Colorado this weekend playing in the CSU Pueblo Steel & Silver Classic Friday and Saturday.
