I would like to think that the opinions of the employees and students of Wayne State College make a difference, and that the administration would listen to our points of view before making changes. I am referring to the alteration of our custodians’ work schedules beginning March 1.

 
The custodians are valuable members of our college community. I have not met any of our staff who want to work the night shift or who were consulted about such a radical change in their hours.

 
Please let our new President—who has not yet been with us a year—know your views on this policy. I would hope she would hear our voices.
