Wayne State College is celebrating its 100th Homecoming Sept. 30-Oct. 5.
On Monday, Sept. 30, WSC’s Student Senate is hosting Wildcat Dress Up Bash in the Kanter Student Center Atrium from 4-6 p.m. Following that activity, in the Ramsey Theatre in Peterson Fine Arts, the Homecoming royalty will hold its coronation at 7 p.m.
On Tuesday, Oct. 1, hypnotist Derek Hughes, will be putting on a show in Ramsey Theatre at 8 p.m.
On Oct. 2, a blood drive will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Niobrara Room in the Kanter Student Center. In Cat’s Corner, from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. there will be bingo and trivia. Wednesday night will end with the Wildcat Glam Jam in Ramsey Theatre starting at 8 p.m.
On Thursday, Oct. 3, RHA will be hosting a Willy Olympics on the Bowen Lawn starting at 4 p.m. In Hoffbauer Plaza of the Student Center, a “Yell like Hell” pep rally will be held at 7:30 p.m. followed by a bonfire at 8 p.m. on the green space, east side of the student center.
Friday, Oct. 4 will start with a Wildcat Coffee House in Cat’s Corner from 9-11 a.m. followed by the Greek Olympics at 5 p.m. in the Willow Bowl.
On Saturday, Oct. 5, starting at 9:30 a.m., the Homecoming Parade will head through downtown Wayne and end by the Willow Bowl. Later, the WSC wildcats will take on Minot State at 1 p.m. for the Homecoming football game.
