WSC students elect Smith, Richling

Adam Smith and Jackson Richling were elected president and vice president of the WSC Student Senate today by a narrow margin.
 
Smith and Richling won the election with 50.96% of the vote, according to current Senate President Jorge Adame.
 
Taylor Gardner and Kori Siebert earned 49.04% of the vote.
Adame said a total of 1,042 votes were cast.
 
Smith and Richling edged out Gardner and Siebert 531 to 511.
 
“The candidates did an exceptional job of campaigning,” Adame said. “Their hard work, determination and dedication to the student body of WSC sets them above as true leaders on campus.”
