Baseball head coach Alex Koch announced last week that nine players signed letters of intent during the NCAA early signing period (Nov. 11) to become Wildcats for the 2016-2017 school year.

 
Eight of the nine players are incoming freshmen. Jordan Mehl is the lone junior college transfer.

 
Six of the nine players are pitchers, while the other three fill the opening holes in the infield and outfield.

 
Koch believes that the newcomers will help build a solid base for the future of the program.
