Piano ensemble takes Ramsey by storm
Emily Moore performed with the Wayne State piano ensemble in Ramsey Theater last Thursday night. She also played “The Stars and Stripes Forever” with Jaicee Heng.

Ramsey Theatre was filled with music last Thursday as the WSC Department of Music presented the WSC Keyboard Ensemble.
The program featured seven keyboardists, multiple solos and duets on two grand pianos.
This ensemble started off with “Legend of the Phoenix” by Kevin Olson, which was a great opener.
Solos on the grand piano included “Hedwig’s Theme” performed by Maddy Becker, “At Wit’s End” by Katie Welsh and “Rhapsody Op.11 No.3” by Taylor Anson.
Keyboardists brought a modern twist to classics like “Yankee Doodle” and “Amazing Grace.”
The ensemble finished the night off with “Overture from the Marriage of Figaro.”
The concert was entertaining with a mix of solos and the ensemble performing.
