Almost 150 WSC students were treated by S.A.B last Thursday with an appearance by Jeff Dye.

The nationally known comedian appeared in Ramsey Theatre for an hour of laughs and groans. There may have even been some tears.

Dye first appeared on the national stage on NBC’s “Last Comic Standing,” where he came in third place overall, just three years after he launched his professional career. Since then, Dye has been featured on both MTV and Comedy Central.

On MTV, he hosted “Money for Strangers” and “Numbnuts.” On Comedy Central, he has had his own “Comedy Central Presents” special.

Dye has also appeared on shows like “Girl Code” and “Extreme Makeover: Home Edition.”

During his stand up performance, Dye told jokes ranging on a variety of subjects. He hit on religion, equal rights for both women and the LGBT community, animals and everything in between.

It is worth your time to watch Dye on TV. He is currently appearing throughout the country, and his schedule can be found on jeffdye.com.
